Natural Attractions of West Wales
WWBIC is currently working with tourism organisations who are keen to promote natural attractions in West Wales. WWBIC provides information to help elevate the importance of nature to local people ensuring that any tourist activities this will not lead to any harmful impacts. We have to be responsible towards this major long-term asset and WWBIC strives to ensure that decisions to allow or prevent development or recreation are made in the light of the best available information.
Visit Wales (Welsh Assembly Government) kindly sponsored the mapping software for our work. We are developing a map showing the best sites in West Wales from a natural and a historical landscape perspective (we are working with Cambrian Archaeology on this).
