Skokholm Island

Situated south west of Marloes Peninsula in St Brides Bay Skokholm island is next to Skomer island. It's 100ha in size and is a Special Site of Scientific Interest, a Special Protection Area and is part of the Pembrokeshire Islands Special Area of Conservation.

Skokholm is an important breeding site for manx shearwaters and storm petrels, other sea birds on and around the island include puffins, razor bills, guillemots, lesser black-backed gulls, great black-backed gulls and herring gulls.

There is a rich and diverse plant and lichen population on the island, grey seals can be seen on the shores and cetaceans can be spotted in the sea around the island.
